Branches’ 20th Annual Thanksgiving to Deliver nearly 5,000 Meals to Families in Need

On November 26th, 2020, Thanksgiving morning, Branches plans to cook, package and deliver nearly 5,000 hot meals to needy individuals and families from 6 different sites throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties. This is the largest meal delivery effort in Florida on Thanksgiving Day. Just a few hundred volunteers will give of their time on Thanksgiving morning by putting together individual meals via assembly lines and passing them off to volunteer drivers who deliver them. Branches had to extremely limit the number of volunteers this year in order to ensure all COVID-19 safety precautions are being followed, however meals will still be provided as they are needed this year more than ever before.
