Branches depends on the generosity of individuals, businesses, foundations and churches to provide financial resources and the donations of goods, services, and time by hundreds of individuals like you every year.
When you volunteer, you become a critical partner and ally in the health of the community. You also get the opportunity to practice and strengthen current skills, learn new ones, and build lasting relationships while making a positive impact.
Homework Help with Grow (Elementary Students):
Volunteer to help Branches’ elementary school students with their homework.
- Location: Branches Lakeview (North Miami) & Branches Florida City
- Days: Mondays-Thursdays
- Times: Anytime from 2PM-5PM
Serve a Meal to our students at Branches Florida City:
Spread joy by serving dinner to Branches’ elementary, middle and high school students. Share a smile and make a difference!

Become a Volunteer Tax Preparer:
Become an IRS certified volunteer tax preparer and help prepare local community members’ taxes. If interested, please email vita@branchesfl.org
- Location: VITA sites throughout Miami-Dade County
- Dates: Weekdays and some weekends January 2025 – April 2025
- Times: Anytime from 9AM-5PM
Volunteer with Miami-Dade Community ID:
Assist with traffic, ID photo station, greeting, and/or ushering at Miami-Dade Community ID events. Click here to sign up to volunteer for a Miami-Dade Community ID event.
- Location: Varies throughout Miami-Dade County
- Dates: 1 Saturday per month (Aug 24, Sept 28, October 19, and November 9)
- Times: 10:30am-2PM or 2PM-4:30PM
Make sandwiches or snack packs for Branches students:
Make sandwiches or snack packs for Branches students and families. Sandwiches must be labeled (ex: PB&J, Ham & Cheese, Turkey, etc.) and delivered within 24 hours. Snack packs can be made with clear Ziplock bags and may only include nonperishable pantry items such as crackers, apple sauce, juice boxes, fruit snacks, granola bars, etc.

Beautify a Branches Site:
Serve at Branches and help beautify our campus through projects such as painting and landscaping. Groups of 5 to 30 adult volunteers are welcome! A financial donation is needed to cover the cost of supplies.
