Volunteer

Branches depends on the generosity of individuals, businesses, foundations and churches to provide financial resources and the donations of goods, services, and time by hundreds of individuals like you every year.

When you volunteer, you become a critical partner and ally in the health of the community. You also get the opportunity to practice and strengthen current skills, learn new ones, and build lasting relationships while making a positive impact.

Grow Program – There are opportunities to work with elementary students such as mentoring, tutoring, providing homework help, leading enrichment activities, teaching financial education and contributing your own unique skills and talents to extracurricular activities.

Climb Program – There are opportunities to work with middle and high school students such as providing academic tutoring, leading life skills workshops, participating in service projects and retreats, teaching financial education and contributing your own unique skills and talents to extracurricular activities.

Achieve Programs – There are opportunities to provide financial wellness services to individuals and families. Volunteers can provide free tax prep services by becoming certified through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Volunteers are also needed to mentor small business owners. Volunteers may also serve at one of our Miami-Dade Community ID events.

General Facility Beautification – There are often opportunities at our sites for volunteers, groups large or small, to help out with projects such as painting, mulching, landscaping, constructing necessary program items such as picnic tables etc. and much more.

Thanksgiving Meal Delivery – The Thanksgiving Meal Delivery provides many opportunities to volunteer, including a food drive, meal preparation, and meal delivery from several sites in Miami-Dade and Broward County.
