On Saturday, April 22nd at 7pm, Branches, a local non-profit dedicated to providing essential services and life-changing opportunities to low-income children, youth and families, will celebrate its 14th Annual Black Tie & Blue Jeans Benefit Dinner and Auction at the JW Marriott Marquis. More than 500 guests are expected to attend and help raise funds for Branches’ programs focused on long-term personal success.
Branches’ 16th Annual Thanksgiving Delivers 5,000+ Meals to Families in Need

On November 24th, 2016, Thanksgiving morning, Branches delivered over 5,100 hot meals to needy individuals and families from eight different sites throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties. This is the largest meal delivery effort in Florida on Thanksgiving Day.
Branches, Inc. Receives Grant of more than $10,000 from The UPS Foundation

Branches, Inc. received a $10,100 grant from The UPS Foundation, which drives global corporate citizenship and philanthropic programs for UPS. The grant will be used towards Branches’ 16th Annual Thanksgiving Meal Delivery, to cover the cost of the turkey for 6,000+ meals.

Over 400 guests attended and helped raise over $275,000 for Branches’ programs which focus on long-term success and life-changing opportunities for low-income children, youth and families.
Branches, Inc. Celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in South Dade

On Monday, January 18, 2016, Branches will celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through a day of community service. Branches staff, its team of AmeriCorps members and over 250 volunteers will spend the day beautifying Florida City and South Miami through several painting, planting and other service projects.

Branches, Inc. has been partnering with the Ocean Reef Community Foundation for over 7 years, and has received more than $290,000 in grant funding to support their work. Most recently, Branches, Inc. was awarded a grant by the Foundation of $50,150 to support both its Grow & Climb children and youth program, as well as its Achieve financial stability program.
Branches, Inc. in Miami Receives 2015 Bank of America Neighborhood Builder Award

Branches, Inc. announced that it has been named a recipient of the Bank of America Neighborhood Builder Award for 2015. One of only two grant awardees in Miami, Branches will receive $200,000 in operating support over two years, part of an approximately $1.7 million collective investment that Bank of America is making this year to more than 50 nonprofits in the area.
