2025 Martin Luther King, Jr.
National Service Day
January 20th, 2025

In partnership with AmeriCorps, Branches will honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 20th, 2025 through a day of community service at all three of our sites, Branches Florida City, Branches South Miami and Branches Lakeview in North Miami. We look forward to serving our community with you!

Branches Florida City will be celebrating its 15th Annual “Florida City, Love Yourself” MLK Day by serving the Florida City community with various projects such as painting, minor repair work, beautification projects and cleaning within the community, and at local schools. 

Branches South Miami will have the opportunity to assist a local South Miami mural artist, Gail Alexander, to complete the outline of the mural on the remainder of the wall that used to mark the segregation line!

Branches Lakeview in North Miami will be celebrating its 7th Annual “United We Stand” MLK Day of Service and giving back by beautifying our Branches site. Painting the Gaga ball pit our students love so much. We will also do some landscaping work around the grounds and organize and clean the classrooms.
