Branches depends on the generosity of individuals, churches, foundations and businesses to provide financial resources – and the donations of goods, services, and time by thousands of individuals like you every year.
Volunteering is a great way to change not only the lives of others in the community, but it is also a great way to change your own life. When you volunteer, you become a critical partner and ally in the health of the community. You also get the opportunity to practice and strengthen current skills, learn new ones, and build lasting relationships while making a positive impact.

Climb Program - There are opportunities to work with middle and high school students such as mentoring, providing academic tutoring, leading life skills workshops, participating in service projects and retreats, serving as a guide for college discovery, and contributing your own unique skills and talents to extracurricular activities.

A law background or paralegal skills are also in demand to help serve our immigrant families.
Special Events -
- The Thanksgiving Meal Delivery program provides many opportunities to volunteer, including food donation collection, meal preparation, and meal delivery from several sites in Miami-Dade County. There are also more involved positions such as site coordinators, donation organizers, and registration leaders.
- The Black Tie & Blue Jeans Benefit Dinner and Auction also needs volunteers to procure donation items and help set up the silent auction, participate on the registration and check-out teams, and serve as greeters, ushers and runners.
